How's this for a dieting reward?

Anyone who's known me for a very long time (Sharon, I think you're it) would know that, in fourth grade, I played in the orchestra and was learning cello. I loved the sound of the instrument, and wanted to keep playing it, but I had a very bad experience with the music teacher, and stopped taking it because, frankly, she was a stupid bitch. (Note: When the top tuning peg sticks in your ear, (instead of both sets comfortably behind your head) the cello is too short. It is uncomfortable. It makes playing a pain in the butt and is not a minor little thing. Ms. Valentine? You suck.) ...

.... So, I've still always loved the sound of it, and wanted to play it again. My husband's brother has played the bass (upright ) for many years, and his girlfriend plays the violin. So.. both have considerable experience with stringed instruments, and my brother-in-law also wants to learn cello... so I have willing (free!) teachers.

.... This brings me to my reward. I've been trying, very hard, to lose weight. A year ago, I actually made it to 180, but the upheaval of going back to school full-time, combined with a long stretch of poor health didn't help at all, and I went back up part of the way to where I was. So, now I'm trying to lose weight again, and I made a deal with Dave. If I make it to 150 (yah, yah, hush about that still being heavy, I did the body-fat percentage business and that would put me at about 12-15% bodyfat, which is good enough for me)... well, if I make it, in addition to getting a massive clothes shopping spree, I get a cello! Yep! Nothing terribly expensive, but a decent student one. I think it's an awful lot of incentive, and I can't wait! So.. do me a favor, and encourage me?
